Job Purpose
Job Profile: Proposals, Estimation & Sales Support for Yokogawa RTU, SCADA, DCS & Safety Systems
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Job Requirement
  • Preparation of Techno-Commercial Proposal for Large / Mega System Projects specifically for Refinery, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Mining, Fertilizer, Sugar Projects
  • Cost Estimation & Optimization for the above projects
  • Sales Support Activities for Systems (RTU, SCADA, DCS & Safety) which mainly include.
    • Technical Discussions with Customer & End User
    • Technical Clarifications to Customer’s Queries on Proposal
    • System Presentations (RTU, SCADA, DCS & Safety Systems)
    • Interactions with Headquarters & other Affiliates for Multi EPC Projects
    • Interactions with Headquarters for Additional Support (Technical as well as Commercial)

Qualification and Experience
  • Engineering Graduate in instrumentation engineering will be an advantage.
  • Min 5 years [ 5 – 7 years ] for Sales Proposal Engineer and minimum 9 years’ experience for Senior Sales Proposal Engineer of relevant experience in the industrial automation industry.
Challenges: Complying to Proposal Deadlines which involves working extra hours (if required) & working on weekends
  • Area of Coverage: Entire Africa (French as well English-speaking African countries)
  • Algeria Nationals Only
Competencies
  • Moderate Traveling within Africa as when required for site survey and Customer meetings
  • Fluent in French as well as in English
Skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Good Technical Knowledge on Automation Systems, Field Instrumentation, F&G Detectors, E&I activities
