Chaise Management Group, LLC is seeking individuals to review and score competitive grant applications for Scholarships Opportunities Achieving Results (SOAR) Act Teacher Pipeline for the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
The SOAR Act Teacher Pipeline Grant supports the quality and quantity of the teacher supply for DC charter schools. Teacher pipeline projects are initiatives that a) recruit high-quality candidates new to teaching for DC charter schoolteacher residency or teacher roles, and b) train and/or certify these teachers.
Individuals must have: (1) a minimum of 3+ years school-based elementary or secondary education experience and/or relevant graduate-level study, and (2) prior grant, evaluation, and/or budget experience. Also, individuals must be available from March 27 through Apr. 21, 2023, during which time, grant reviewers will receive training and review grant applications. Each grant application will take approximately 2-3 hours to review and reviewers who complete the review process successfully will be compensated $150.00 per application.
